I'm Jamie. I spent ten years in animal welfare before building Healing with Dogs, which means I've seen exactly what happens to dogs when skin problems go unaddressed. I trained in Iv San Bernard (ISB) professional protocols, and every dog in my van gets the same care I'd give my own four. (Yes, four. They're my kids.)

The residential care you book funds our mission: providing free skin and coat restoration to shelter dogs across Kansas City, so they photograph better, get adopted faster, and stay in their new homes instead of coming back. Before you start.
How is this different from a salon visit?
Completely. I care for one dog at a time, in an unhurried mobile spa, using restorative ISB protocols chosen for your dog, never services picked off a menu. Every dog gets a personal care plan, and every visit builds on the last.
What does it cost?
Every care plan is personal, so pricing is confirmed in your care plan after our consultation call. The $50 consultation fee is applied to your first visit, and you'll see everything in writing before you book. (No price ranges anywhere on the site.)
Where do you travel?
I serve the Kansas City metro area, both sides of the state line. Your intake form asks for your city, and I'll confirm your area during our consultation call.
Can you fix my dog's skin condition?
I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions. That's your veterinarian's world, and I work happily alongside them. What I do is restore and maintain skin and coat health with professional ISB protocols, and document everything so you and your vet always have a clear picture.
Why is there a $50 consultation?
Because your dog deserves a plan, not a guess. The consultation is a real 20-minute conversation about your dog's history and needs, and the fee is applied to your first visit when you book within 30 days.
What are ISB products?
Iv San Bernard is a professional Italian line of skin and coat care products used by specialists worldwide. I select ISB products for each dog individually, and I stock them so you can continue the right home care between visits.
